Like many of you, we in the FSCF Steering Group look forward to gathering regularly again, after a quarantine spring and a pandemic summer.
So far, we have scheduled four virtual Faculty/Staff Christian Forum meetings–every other Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00, as follows: (Zoom links announced weekly)
Sept. 17– “COVID-19: A Biostatistician Looks Back to Project Forward;” webinar with Dr. Jeffrey Morris, Biostatistics (DBEI, PSOM).
Oct. 1— Roundtable discussion on “Navigating University Life in the Pandemic;” Facilitator–Phil Gehrman, Psychology.
Oct. 15— A conversation with Chaplain Charles Howard (V.P. of Social Equity and Community): “Social Equity and Racial Justice at Penn.”
Oct 29— Roundtable discussion of John Lennox’ book, Where is God in a Coronavirus World? Facilitators–Alex Lin, M.D. and Ray Townsend, M.D..
(Updated FSCF meeting calendar is accessible from this Home page only.)
This is a time of unprecedented challenges—in our university, our nation, and our personal lives. Yet God is greater. Join us in praying for the Lord to show himself strong in this university community and in each other’s lives.
Thanks for all you do,
Dave DeHuff, for the FSCF Steering Group: Mike Atchison; Gina Barrett; Sharon Fleshman; Phil Gehrman; Alex Lin, M.D.; Ray Townsend, M.D.
